Future Tense in EnglishFuture tense as the name shows represents coming time and it is used when the verb refers to the time coming in future. Future tense is used to describe an action that will happen in future time. In English, a future tense is a tense that describes the event that are not having happened yet, but expected to happen in the future or to happen subsequent to some other event, whether that is past, present, or future. In future tense normally verb's first form is used with the addition of shall, will, shall be, will be, shall have, will have, shall have been and will have been.
Future tense is used to describe:
i) Actions that will happen in future
ii) Actions not happening yet
iii) Future events
iv) Events describing later, next, coming, tomorrow etc
There are four types of future tense.
a) Simple Future Tense
b) Future Continuous Tense
c) Future Perfect Tense
d) Future Perfect Continuous Tense
